Hear about the rich history of Cha Cha, both the music and the style of dance.
Learn to understand the timing of the music, specifically the cha-cha-cha syncopated beats.
Build a strong foundation with the basic steps of the dance.
Dance with and without a partner, practicing both open footwork (shines) and lead/follow techniques.
Learn how to convert familiar Salsa turn patterns into Cha Cha timing.
Explore adding Cha Cha footwork to your Salsa repertoire.

If you werenโt able to join the October lesson, this will be the perfect opportunity to catch up! If you attended any of the previous workshops, you should still come! We will do a thorough review as well as work on new footwork and turn patterns. Some prior Salsa experience would be helpful and is highly recommended.
