Hear about the rich history of Cha Cha, both the music and the style of dance.

Learn to understand the timing of the music, specifically the cha-cha-cha syncopated beats. 

Build a strong foundation with the basic steps of the dance.

Dance with and without a partner, practicing both open footwork (shines) and lead/follow techniques.

Learn how to convert familiar Salsa turn patterns into Cha Cha timing.

Explore adding Cha Cha footwork to your Salsa repertoire.

We will do a thorough review as well as work on new footwork and turn patterns. Some prior Salsa experience would be helpful and is highly recommended.
