Heather first discovered a love of Latin dance after her first Salsa dancing experience while living in Quito, Ecuador. She became an avid social dancer after moving back to Washington, D.C. in 2014. Heather discovered her true love for Brazilian Zouk after taking a workshop with world renowned instructors and dancers Jaime Aroxa and Kiri Chapman in 2022. Since then she has traveled throughout the United States and internationally to attend Zouk congresses and weekenders to train with professional dancers. She is currently training with the incredible Ry’el from Lambarado Dance Studios. Heather splits her time between Albuquerque and Santa Fe and works full time as an immigration attorney.
