Progressive Beginner Salsa Class

We offer two Different Levels of Salsa

Salsa LVL2 (Adv. Beginner)

Do you already have some Salsa experience? Feel like you can survive a full song on the social dance floor but want to add a few more moves to your repertoire? If so, this class is for you!

The first 30 minutes of each class focuses on footwork, to develop fundamental skills such as balance, coordination, musicality, and timing. The remaining hour of each class is spent in partner work, learning and practicing turn patterns. This is a PROGRESSIVE class. Every class includes a brief review of the moves from the previous week, before tackling a new turn pattern. Consistent weekly attendance is strongly encouraged, as it is the best way to become a more skilled Salsero/a!

In partnership with the SFCC Continuing Education program. 

 Welcome to the amazing worldwide community of Salsa! Learn popular footwork patterns, as well as the fundamentals of dancing with a partner. In this class we will work on skills like balance, coordination, musicality, and timing so you can feel ready for the social dance scene. As this is a group class, you'll be encouraged to rotate partners. Get ready to meet new people, create fun connections, and gain confidence on the dance floor! See you for Salsa!
